Should I use a Linux or Windows hosting server?<\/h3>\n

We strongly recommend a Linux server for hosting. Our Linux hosting packages are supplied with a large number of features, including a lot of useful server scripts. Normally, there are more server scripts available for Linux servers, and these servers allow a larger number of MySQL databases. <\/p>\n

Some of our 1-click server software installations require their own MySQL database use, so the Linux Advanced or Ultimate package is recommended. <\/p>\n

We recommend that you only use a Windows server if you have a specific need to do so. For example, if you need to run Windows server specific software, such as ASP.NET. <\/p>\n

If you’re not sure which type of server you need, the Linux server is nearly always the best choice. <\/p>\n
